Exceptional Painting On Ivory Classical Frame

Exceptional 19th century oil painted portrait in a gilt bronze classical frame. The portrait is highly detailed with a lady in a fabulous bonnet with fabulous flowers. Signed at 4 o’clock PAULIN. As you can see this is quite the exceptional frame having classical wreaths and winged lady figures from Greek mythology mounted on the front. The silk covering is somewhat deteriorated – as would be suspected. The back has an easel for table top display and a ring for wall or cabinet display.

Measurements: It measures overall in the frame 6 ¼” x 5 1/8”. Site size of the round portrait is 2 3/8”l x 2 ½”w.
