Fine Chinese Famille Verte Vase C1700

Porcelain, Pottery: Orientalia: Qing

An antique Chinese Famille verte vase, Kangxi period (1662-1722), Qing Dynasty. This Famille Verte (which came before famille rose or noir) porcelain vase is decorated with hand painted highly detailed court scene, birds and floral motifs. Condition; good condition with minor traces of wear to the overglaze enamels visible in the photograph. Measurements: 10" tall and is a rare perfect example of early Chinese art.
