Firescreen Brass & Wire

Brass & Iron fireplace screen , this type of screen / fender is very hard to come by. As you can see it is higher than the average fender of this type .The design is also quite handsome , it has a lot going on & yet is still understated. It is brass & wire, the condition is excellent & this shape is rare & hard to find .It is almost a straight front with ever so slight curvature at the ends. So you can see that you will get a lot of protection from flying sparks. It dates from the 19th century .42” wide including the slight curvature of 8 ½” at each end x 24” high.
