French, 18th Century, Silk Brocade Table Cover, Rare Blue Ground

An 18th century French silk brocaded table cover with a rare ground of royal blue woven with small silk polychrome flowers throughout. Edged in a small French silver metallic galon. Lined on the backside with a brilliant lemon yellow silk. Brocade is a rich silk fabric decorated with a flower pattern in embroidery sometimes with gold or silver thread. Condition: Excellent.
