Antique French ivory Aide Memoire or maybe a dance card holder, incredibly rare form of a fan with turned ivory handle and matching writing implement. The front is decorated with silver Japonese or Chinoisere design of birds with leaved and greenery and a center cartouche for initials or monogram. Interior has 3 blank ivory discs. Chain for the finger. The finest quality and you will never see another like this. Ivory is in wonderful condition and great patina.
