	French Antique Louis XVI Gilt Bronze Candelabra On Marble Lighting: Decorative Arts
	An exquisite pair of 19th century French, Louis XVI gilt bronze candelabras with patinated bronze Male and Female Putti holding the candelabrum tree. Each gilt bronze tree has three scrolled arms decorated with foliate ending with bobeches and candle cups, set at different heights. The arms and putti are an opposing perfectly matched pair. Each rests on a splendid carved black marble plinth that is decorated on the top with bronze beading and the sides having an inset center cartouche with applied gilt foliate decorations. The back of each is perforated and ready to wire. Measurements: 18" H by 9 1/2"W. The base is 5 1/2" square.
