A fine French Empire marble top buffet. This piece is designed with several styles of ormolu mounts. On the two doors are winged figures of renown and four rosette's in the corners. The columns are capped with Egyptian water leaves. The center drawer has the crown of laurel and oak leaves and four palmette's dividing the three drawers. The case is made from a mahogany which has natural sun fade. On top is a green marble with white veining. C. 1860-1870
