Beautiful open salt pair from acclaimed French silversmith Maison Puiforcat. Puiforcat is renowned the world over for their uncompromising attention to quality in the manufacture of fine silver. This little open salt pair is no exception. Crafted in French Empire style in the late 1800's early 1900's, pure clear crystal liners sit in .950/1000 sterling covers decorated with stiff leaf borders, laurel and berry wreaths and fronds, bows and a floral accent amid more laurel leafs and berries. Utterly charming The inside of the sterling is washed with gold. Condition is very good; light signs of use. In one of the crystal liners, a little piece of something is embedded; lets you know it's hand blown ;) Priced to sell, don't miss these delightful table accents Please see photos for dimensions and marks.
