French Faience Centerpiece Bowl

Fine early 20th century Antique French Faience Porcelain Pottery Bowl. The bowl or centerpiece is beautifully decorated with silver mounts and open panels around the rim and base and has wonderfully executed large twisted rope handles. White ground is painted with pale green and gold leaves and paupers. Measurements: 10 1/2" across, 5 1/2" height. Faience or faïence is the conventional name in English for fine tin-glazed earthenware on a delicate pale buff body.
