A very decorative and finely crafted pair of Antique French gilt bronze fireplace chenets. The chenets are dated at about 1850. Richly decorated with stylized acanthus leaves and a putti boy and a girl are sitting atop a gilt bronze base. The pair have a beautiful rich dark bronze patina. A beautiful accessory for your fireplace.
