	Pair of French Louis XIV walnut side chairs, c1870. An impressive pair in walnut with 100 year old upholstery. Beautiful frames with typical Louis XIV stretcher base, with fluted carving and elegant curvatures and scroll feet; backs are upholstered recently in a whimsical small pattern check in matching color palate. These chairs date from around 1870 and are in excellent condition; just arrived from a private estate; perfect beside a console in an entry or for accent chairs.
