French Louis XV Style Rosewood Bombe Chest Of Drawers

This is a pretty bombe chest of drawers from the beginning of the 20th century featuring a lovely rosewood veneer. The thick serpentine shaped beveled yellow jura brocatelle marble is honoring the shape of the bombe façade featuring a pair of drawers “sans traverse”, both boasting an elaborate inlaid embellishment depicting floral patterns and mounted with their original cast bronze acanthis-shaped handles and escutcheons. Note the bronze ormolus flanking the façade. This piece is in overall good condition and for sale as is. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 33”high/ 33”wide/ 16 ½”deep.
