French Louis XVI Style Oak Floor Lamp

This is a tall and appealing floor lamp made from solid oak at the beginning of the 20th century. The long shaft is nicely turned and features fluted pattern, this interesting part comes from the fact that item can be extended (See picture), it stands on a round base centering a large acanthus rosette and supported by 3 acanthus-shaped legs. Note that this item has recently been wired to the US Standard. Lampshade is not included. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 79”high/ 89”high once extended/ 17”diameter (Base).
