Superb Rare French Palais Royal ormolu purse with ivory paintings of 4 famous Grand Tour Landmarks.

Approx. 2 by 2 1/2 inches.

Beautifully etched ormolu with 4 ivory landmark paintings. Press to open to an interior silk lined. Looks like new with little fading. 3 pockets and a secret 4th pocket with private opening. Just perfect. Trimmed in beige leather. Back of purse is also beautifully etched.

The ivory painted Monuments are: the Pantheon, arc de Triomphe, Place Verdome and the Obelisque de Luxor at the Place de Concorde.

Exceptional condition...a rare and wonderful treasure.
