	French Palais Royal Ormolu Monkey Shell Salt Ship Antiques: Palais Royal: Circa 1830
	A wonderful example of Palais Royal French Grand Tour ware. A mother of pearl hull for the boat and decorated with ormolu fittings, sail , rudder and the cast monkey at the helm. The details are fantasic with the rigging of the ship and much of it is engraved. Most probably was a master salt. It sets upon an alabaster oval stand. In wonderful condition with great patina and no chips or cracks.
