	A wonderful french provencal slant front writing desk out of french walnut. The interior is fitted and has a locking secret compartment. Below the slant front are two drawers over one drawer and having ormolu handles. The slant front is inlaid setting off a book matched burl center. The sides have a slight bombay shape. Resting on a graceful curved leg. C.1790-1800.
