Veuve Perrin Mirror, circa 1770 France. A magnificent survivor from before the French Revolution. Stunning in every way, a one of a kind offering. Mirror is soft paste, of pate tendre, large with extremely detailed artistry, hand painted with a variety of French figurals and vignettes. The colors are carmine,vert mauve and cobalt and other colors of the 18th century palette. Mirror can be hung, or a simple replacement wooden support can be added to use as an easel back.
Condition: Very Good. There are a few very old small age cracks, common to the faience of this period. Mirror was recently shipped from France, no damage occurred in shipping.
