	A distinguished pair of Louis XIII style french walnut armchairs with a high back. These chairs are designed with a open bobbin and reel arm with acanthus leaf carvings to the handle. The turned legs rest upon a carved claw foot and a conforming turned H-stretcher. The most impressive feature is the tapestry coverings. Excellent condition and colors. A fabulous pair of chairs. C. 1870-1880.
