	One of the very best examples of true classical ornamental iron work This garden chair is in true classical form ,the flowing movement & the floral decoration to blend in the natural setting that this chair would be found in. Dating from the early 1800’s with many coats of white paint heavily chipped off in some sections, as to be expected There is a 2” chip off the back foot .The cross bar stretcher on the mid base of the chair to me appears to also be original. This is a nice large size chair measuring 34” high to the very top crest of the back x 16” seat height x 18” seat widthx22” wide across the arms x 18” seat depth. This is a remarkable example of the finest 19th century ornamental cast iron work. This chair is much earlier work than we ordinarily see.
