George Washington Leather Bound Books 1860

Life of George Washington, in 5 volumes by Washington Irving 1860.G.P.Putnam, New York. All 5 volumes are ¾ brown leather with marble boards and marble edges, 5 raised ribs on spine, gold gilt title on spine. Only minor scratches on spine and some minor normal ware on edges. All 5 volumes are clean and tight. A very nice looking 5 vol set. Washington laid Pinckney’s letter before congress on the 4th of April.
