	Ginger Opulent Jars Painted & Gold Enamel Antiques: Art Glass
	A beautiful matching pair of quilted glass jars almost in a ginger jar shape and defiantly boldly designed in a quilted pattern. The design is well defined. The white opulent glass is hand painted with pink roses and green leaves. In each quilted diamond there is a rose and between each quilted diamond there is a gold enameled design also in stylized floral shape. The work is magnificent and the condition of the jars is absolutely perfect. I have tried unsuccessful to attach a maker to these jars – from the look of the initials or letters on the inside of the lids and on the bottom of the piece I get the suspicion that they are French. You can see the artist initials CP with some gold dots and a dash underneath and then inside the lid in green script the letters BC. I suppose if you are looking at these you probably feel as I do that they are of fabulous quality they must be something special – they have to be. I have never seen work like this. As I listed this on the web-site I still will continue to try and find out who the maker is. When I saw these I went hook line and sinker I just had to have them! They measure 6 ¾”h overall and running the tape just across the body of the jar the diameter is about 6 ½”. Again the condition is just absolutely perfect and having truly extravagant amount of gold gilding on these jars.
