Glass & Silver Decanters In Stand

One of the all time best Decanter Tantalus made in the Victorian Era. The stand is all hand made with a grape & vine motif of Sheffield Silver. You can see the hand hammered silver plates over the metal base. (Usually most often these such stands are manufactured, but this one is all hand made)The surface is just so rich & lustrous with the deep silver. The heavy repousse design is extremely will defined. The three decanters are cut glass in a very traditional design; these I believe are English Waterford. They are very heavy & in good condition, having only some minor roughage on one or two of the decanter bases on the outside edge. There is a tiny bit of cloudiness on the inside bottom of the decanters as well, this is quite common for liquor decanters from this time period. What I like most about this Tantalus is that it really is timeless & can really be used, great for the bedroom or office since it is so portable & decanters are a nice big size Measuring 15” High & triangular base is 12” x 11”.The cut glass decanters are 10 ¼” High x 3 18” diameter .This is a great investment grade antique.
