	Gorham Athenic Mixed Metal Vase Antiques: Decorative Arts
	Exceptional Gorham Athenic copper vase caged in pierced sterling. The Athenic line was designed as an Art line in sterling to compliment Martele. This vase has a wonderful aged patina with hints of red, brown, and black (didn't show well in photo). The interior is lightly gilded. Base is sterling and well marked. The vase weighs 7.5 ounces. It measures 3 3/4 inches in height, depth is 3 1/4 inches and diameter is 3 3/8 inches. Marked "Athenic", hallmarks with a lion, an anchor and a G, "Sterling", and BY173. Circa 1900. Excellent condition.
