Price: $110.00 USD THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD!
I have seen many of these but this Graniteware Coffee Pot has charm far beyond all others. The porcelain enamel has grey mottling and staining, small rust spots that actually BLEND IN and ADD to its beauty. Who would of thought that you would ever call one of these beautiful. Just stare at this and you can almost feel yourself going back to the wagon trail days, sitting around the fire watching the flames waiting for the coffee and seeing it boil over. Its been there, you can just tell. The coloring is nothing short of interesting with its thick texturing and wonderful glazed shine. Porcelain enamelwares were considered an improvement in the late 1800s as they were far lighter than cast iron, graniteware was unaffected by acidic foods and were easier to clean. Large coffee pots like this were sometimes called coffee boilers.
Measurements: 13 1/2 tall and has a 11 1/4 diameter base.
