Guilloche Enamel Strut Clock * Exceptional Sterling & Gilt

Gorgeous Hand Details Adorn this Gilt Guilloche strut Clock.  The gilt clock face features a Repousse & Chased Mythological Scene.

**The case is 935 Sterling Gilt...it is marked Argent Dore.  The gold is gorgeous .  Chased on the sides, and beautifully appointed on the back.  8 day clock which works.

**The clock face is a work of art.   I believe it is sterling (the piece is marked 935 sterling...more pure than 925 sterling).  It has Art Deco Numerals.   The center features a beautiful stamped and hand detailed Greek Mythological scene between Zeus and Thetis?.  Zeus is lounging in the clouds while Thetis pleads with him.  There are also 2 cherubic figures and birds.  It has been hand chased and engraved.  The clock hands are missing one tiny backing piece ...this shows in the photo, but is in no way really noticeable.

C O N D I T I O N:  Beautiful vintage condition....clock works but must be used with care.  Some expected wear to dore on outside edges, and a tiny backing piece missing from clock hand.  This DOES NOT change the clock hands...they look beautiful...please enlarge the images to see what we mean.  Thanks, Maire
