Gustafsberg Porcelain Table Orential Design

Gustafsburt Porcelain Table. Quite the remarkable table here! Made completely of porcelain and just to die for the colors of blue and gold are outstanding the form is purely classical and with a touch of Chinese export as well. The highly scalloped top has the most naturalistic and undulating movement. The scene on the top is oriental, very much in the style of canton & the column with its classical acanthus leaves. The base of three well defined paw feet with a lions head on each leg. In-between the legs is a mythological human face and again as I say the detail, the coloring & the form is quite the masterpiece! underneath it is signed in blue Gustafsberg with the numbers 5/88 and I hope you can see that in the pictures. The table is in very good condition and having only one slight chip out of the column under the cap .Other than that the table is in excellent condition. Gustafsberg porcelain as you may know is in Stockholm Sweden and has been operation since I believe 1827 or so.
