Highly coveted and extremely difficult to attain, this authentic Hermes Graphite 35 cm Birkin is in pristine unworn condition. Everything, including the Hermes box with tissue, is included with this purchase. Hermes bags are considered the ultimate luxury item the world over. Hand stitched by skilled craftsmen, wait lists of a year or more are commonplace. This particular Birkin is in Graphite clemence leather (or possibly Togo); a neutral darker grey that is universally flattering.  Most Birkins are made in either Togo or Clemence leathers and are extremely difficult to obtain. Clemence is a scratch resistant leather, very similar to Togo, made from the hide of a baby bull. It is textured with a wonderful grainy appearance. The grain is a bit less deep than Togo giving it a lovely matte effect. Most importantly, Clemence maintains the shape of the bag well over time and is a wonderful leather choice for the Birkin. The graphite leather on this Birkin is classic and neutral; it is highlighted beautifully with sophisticated palladium hardware. Double rolled handles are carried in hand or at the elbow.
