Hermes Iris Clemence Kelly Bag 40cm

This authentic Hermès 40 cm Kelly Retourne is brand new with the protective plastic still in place on the hardware.  Accompanied by everything, it is magnificent.   Hermès bags have always been coveted among the most fashionable, vacillating between the Kelly and the Birkin.    Kelly bags are very difficult to find at the moment.  The most fashion conscious women of Europe have temporarily packed up their Birkins in favor of the more demure and stream lined Kelly. 

This stunning Kelly is in Iris Clemence leather.   Clemence is textured and scratch resistant leather made from the hide of baby bull; it holds the shape of the bag well over time which is crucial in the 40 cm size.  The grain is a bit less deep than Togo giving it an almost matte effect.  Very soft to the touch.    Gold hardware is a warming accent to this regal and breathtaking purple.  The Retourne has edges that are slightly more rounded than the Sellier’s sharper style.  It is a bit softer in appearance.  Lined in chevre leather (goat skin) with one side zippered pocket and two slip pockets.  Protective footed bottom.   Blind stamped P within a square.   A detachable shoulder strap is included.  Made in France.
