Available for your consideration is a beautiful, placid and Authentic Hermes Impose ta Chance Silk Scarf. Designed by artist, Valerie Dawlat-Dumoulin for Hermes, the theme pays homage to poet, Rene Char (1907-1988). Char’s poetry emphasized courage and faith in the face of tribulation. His philosophy served him well in his struggles as a resistance leader against the Nazis in World War II. Artist Valerie Dawlat-Dumoulin selected a phrase from a Char poem to incorporate into her “Impose ta Chance” design. Quietly inscribed amongst the rocks of this design is the phrase, “Impose ta chance, serre ton bonheur et va vers to risque. A te regarder, il s'habitueront," which roughly translates to, “Impose your luck, use your good will and to your risk, a look at you they will get used to.” The scarf was crafted in France of 100% silk twill in hues of green and other gentle colors found in nature. It features a beautiful rock design.
The silk twill scarf, with hand rolled edges, measures approximately 36” x 36”. It is in excellent, gently previously worn condition.
The luxurious and exceedingly upscale Hermes Impose ta Chance Silk Scarf will come to you safely tucked inside its original Hermes orange signature box.
