A wonderful Highly decorated 19th Century Italian Olive Oil Cruet with the insignia of Charter House of Florence Italy.( Certosa Di Firenza)The makers mark on the base is a rooster form ,being the mark of Cantagalli Faïence Pottery. The allover decoration of this cruet is in complete classical form with two handles .The condition is perfect, it is a stunning form & a rare item to find these days .It measures 5 ½” high x 5” across the handles & the width is only 1”.This cruet would have had only a cork for a stopper.
