	Italian Sterling Enamel Figural Compact Antiques: Vintage Compacts
	A stunning Italian sterling vermeil compact. The compact depicts a tranquile and romatic pastoral scene of a lovely romantic of a young woman and her admirer relaxing in a wooded glen. A sheep and a dog can be seen on either side of them. The scene is bordered in faux lapis enameling. What makes this one unusual is that the scene covers almost the entire surface and the border is relatively small in comparison. The interior has a beautifully shaped beveled mirror and original powder screen in base. Condition: Enameling is in mint condition with no scuffs or marks visible at all.
