	Italian Sterling Vanity Compact Goddess Diana Antiques: Vintage Compacts
	This beautiful Italian sterling vermeil compact is rather rare in the design ... on the top we have the Goddess Diana but instead of being done on a flat surface, the painted portion is raised up on a dome shape. I've never run across this type of configuration before on an Italian compact. Around the center scene is a wide border of faux malachite. The interior features a shaped beveled mirror in the lid which is in perfect condition. Interior is all done in gold vermeil. There are some age-appropriate scuffs on the surface only visible when held to light. This is a rare and gorgeous compact. Measures 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" overall.
