	Italian Sterling Vermeil Figural Compact Antiques: Vintage Compacts
	Here we have a very sweet figural sterling vermeil compact with a scene I haven't seen before ... a lovely gowned lady with several courtiers surrounding her. Rich faux turquoise enameling around the edges matches the color of her gown ... it is more turquoise and deeper than the picture shows. Interior features a round beveled mirror in the lid and open powder well in base with some wear. We will include a swansdown puff with purchase. Marked "800" and number "278" which I don't know what it means?? Only a few minor scuffs in enamel surface visible only when held to light. Measures 2-5/8" diameter.
