	Italian Sterling Vermeil Figural Compact - Ladies In Garden Antiques: Vintage Compacts
	This stunning Italian sterling vermeil compact has a very tranquil scene of two ladies reading in a garden setting with lush greenery around them ... there is even a cat sitting atop the stone. The seated lady has a parasol lying beside her and appears to have discarded some papers on the ground at her feet. Both women are beautifully gowned and the woman standing appears to be reading something to the woman seated. The scene is surrounded by faux malachite enameling. Interior is fitted with a round mirror in the lid which is in excellent condition. Swansdown puff is included. Enameling is in mint condition with NO scuffs or marks visible at all and the gold vermeil coating is very rich and bright. measures 2-3/4" diameter.
