A rare & important Japanese Kutani Porcelain Triple Vase from the Late Mejii Period~Q4-19th Century, comprising three conjoined vases depicting fish, riverscape & brocade w/ stylised tassels, finely rendered in the red, gold & blue Kutani palette together w/ an intricately-carved rosewood stand. Vase measurements: 9.5in tall x 8.5in. dia., the stand adding a further 2 inches, the whole thus measuring an impressive 11.5 inches in height, overall. This is a truly spectacular piece in fine condition. An old repair to an age-related crack to the top of the rosewood stand being the only excuse. The piece is signed in gilt Japanese characters, to the bottom.
