Tribute to Josephine Baker
‘Josephine Danse’ is done in pointilism style featuring the dancing Josephine Baker. It looks very Twenties, also underlined by the printing dots coming across like an old newspaper.
The scarf has a background in white and a contrasting hem in dark blue. The dots are done in shades of blue, white and black. A very unusual piece, very versatile when worn.
The scarf has been purchased at the private sales of Hermes. It is sales stamped under the caretag (sales stamp does shine through) and suffers from discolorations on the border (not stains). The defects are shown in the last pictures. No other issues to declare.
