Here is LEIBER at her most CLASSIC and SOPHISTICATED  Couture Snakeskin in a wonderful Plum Color with all the scales easily visible.  Color is slightly Tweedy with undertones of Black and brighter skin.  Hardware is Heavily 24K Gold Electroplated in the highest quality.  Double Gold Fold-Over and Press-Down Clasps with the Snakeskin inlaid into the gold.  The yellow gold frame actually separates for additional access when you  open it.  You can see the hinged opening from the center front & back of the purse.  Interior is made of matching Snakeskin and matching silk Peau de Soie. Has a Zippered Security Pocket and an Envelope Pocket.  Signature plaquette is inside.  Measures 10" Wide x 7" High x 4" Deep - Very pouchy and capacious.  Yellow gold soft and silky herringbone chain shoulder strap with a 13 1/2" drop.  When worn as a clutch the Shoulder strap connectors hide snugly inside the bag.  Features the original change purse. It also has a mirror and a tortoise colored fold-over comb which I  believe are replacements.
