	Lapis Jeweled Blue Boy Figural Hand Mirror In Presentation Box Antiques: Perfumes, Vanity: 3 Dimension Raised Figure
	This is one of the most spectacular hand mirrors I have ever owned! The entire back of the mirror is done in a rich, deep cobalt enamel guilloche with a center vignette of the famous Blue Boy in 3-D enameling. Surrounding the vignette is beautiful embossed goldwork with four lapis jewels at the four points as well as tiny marcasites in the ornate work. The figure itself is raised up and done in a thick enameling ... just fabulous! The mirror itself is beveled and is in excellent condition with just a few tiny points at the very edges where silver is beginning to spot. The majority of the mirror is clear and perfect! The bevel itself is 3/8" ... quite wide! The metal appears to be sterling but is not marked that I can find ... possibly inside the frame but I am not willing to take it apart to find out. It does polish with a soft silver cloth. The presentation box is lined in peach satin which really sets off the cobal blue. It is the original box and the outside is a navy blue with an art deco design in the fabric covering. This is a fabulous piece in near mint, if not mint, condition. Box measures 6-1/4" x 14" overall and mirror itself is 4-3/4" wide x almost 13" long. Includes delivery within Continental U.S.
