Late 18th French Aubusson Tapestry Pillow With Rare Gilt Tassels

A fun 18th century French wool Aubusson tapestry fragment depicting tassels with twisted cord in colors of tomato red, yellow and gold. Edged in an 18th century ornate Italian hemp and metal thread trim. Finished with rare wooden gilded tassels. Backed with antique gold silk velvet.  

Condition: One tiny spot where wool is missing but the ground remains and gilded tassels show wear consistent with age.
