Gorgeous Lace, and silks in Apple Green create this stunning Vintage 60's Lillie Rubin Mini Dress and Jacket...or suit. A very special outfit for a very special occasion. Very Doris Day! The jacket alone is truly amazing...and could easily be used in a very special way to create a fantastic look.....as unlimited as your creativity. **The dress/skirt is a fitted sexy mini skirt. The skirt is created with the amazing lace used on the jacket. It is lined in silk chiffon. It has an attached silk bodice and zips up the back with a metal zipper. Over this is the beautifully made silk sleeveless top. It is created out of the fine chiffon that lines the jacket and peeks through the lace. The color is slightly different than the Granny Smith apple green of the lace. It has a cowl neckline, zips up the back with a hand set zipper, and is lined in silk. **The jacket......absolutely drop dead gorgeous! It has a trapeze or slight swing style....flared around the hem. The sleeves are 3/4 length. The neckline is high. The jacket has no closures...it is meant to be worn slightly open. Beautifully made...fully lined in silk chiffon. Lillie Rubin was founded in 1946 in Miami, Florida. They are a specialty clothing chain, selling primarily special occasion and evening dresses. In 1990, the company was bought by Cache', who added a sportswear line. There are currently twenty-eight Lillie Rubin stores in the US. C O N D I T I O N: Jacket Excellent condition. Skirt, excellent. Attached bodice on skirt has some issues under the arms....see photos. The bodice also has some issues.......slight wear underarms and a hint of staining. There is the barest hint of some sort of water stain on the top. None of this is obvious if worn with jacket. If these issues bother you....they can be fixed (if you know what you are doing).
