The Louis Vuitton 'Boite Flacons' hinged cosmetic travel case was designed (now retired) just like the LV trucks made in the past. This is a hard case for personal beauty and care items, these will hold their value as well as increase in value and always a symbol of luxury! It is lightweight, supple, strong and sturdy! The small case within is perfect for jewelry and designed for smaller cosmetics. This one has a deep interior and three good large straps and two very small ones off to the sides, all to hold flasks or containers. The small removable case is made of the Vuittonite lining, has a leather handle all of it's own and a large mirror and when you rest the small case within the trunk in the open position, the mirror is at a perfect height for applying make-up, exceptionally well crafted & beautifully designed. The exterior is made of the Monogram canvas with washable vuittonite lining, completely waterproof and it is highly resistant to surface scratches - perfect for travel. Golden hardware on all eight corners protecting the canvas, hand finished brass nail heads and an elegant leather trim along the top and bottom edges with the LV logo. It has a trunk-like clasp, the golden "s" lock, just like the LV briefcases. It comes with it's original key and the leather ID holder. The hardware has a nice patina and the lock has a bit of tarnish could be polished but looks just great as it is and there is no loss to the plating.
