Available for your consideration is an exceedingly rare and authentic Louis Vuitton Limited Edition Trompe L’Oeil Pochette Bag.  From Louis Vuitton’s 2004 Collection, the bag was crafted in France of a rich woolen knit fabric featuring Louis Vuitton’s iconic logos with a decorative woven lock detail.  Trompe L’Oeil translates into English as “fool the eye.”  In this instance, the eye is fooled by the illusion of a lock.  The bag has an exotic alligator strap and trim, caramel colored leather trim, antique brass pieces and striking crystal strass detail.  In 2004, the Louis Vuitton Limited Edition Tromple L'Oeil Pochette Bag retailed for $1,460.00.

The bag measures approximately 5.5” high x 8.25” wide x 2” deep.  The alligator leather and antique brass chain strap, with Louis Vuitton-engraved stud detail, has a fall length of approximately 7”.  The bag has a zip closure with Louis Vuitton-engraved antique brass zipper pull.  The interior of the bag is lined with sumptuous, chocolate-colored, calfskin leather.  The bag is in excellent, gently previously worn condition.  The antique brass and crystal strass pieces have some fine, superficial scratches.  One of the strass pieces has a tiny chip at the point (second from left on alligator strap in photos).  The interior of the bag is pristine.
