Louis Vuitton Striped Steamer Trunk is in Excellent Condition, c. 1876-1889. One of the oldest Louis Vuitton trunks we have ever carried, this trunk is also one of Louis Vuitton’s earliest designs. Created at the beginning of the luxury luggage era, this trunk is outfitted with two interior trays, brass hardware, metal trim, and beech wood slats. The interior is lined in a rare blue stripe and the exterior ends are hand painted with the name of the original owner of this trunk, “Agopian.” Measuring 20 3/4” D x 36” W x 23”H, serious inquiries are welcome
