Mahogany Louis XVI style Bureaux á Cylindre is in Excellent Condition, c1890. The top is a white and grey veined marble surface surrounded by a pierced gallery above three drawers. The curved upper section opens to reveal a fitted interior consisting of shelves and drawers, and gives access to a blue leather writing surface which can be extended. Beneath this is one long drawer and two side drawers over four fluted legs raised on toupie feet. The entire desk is accented with bronze appliques.
