Majolica Porcelain Italian Hand Painted Tray Plate

A large antique Majolica Porcelain Italian Hand Painted Tray Plate haped tray in a mottled tan has an applied decoration of a berry vine and plant with an 8" green salamander, a small frog, a large beetle and a 6" snake. These little critters are very life like in size and body. They are free flowing entwined within the tray and each other perfectly! Bottom impress marked "Tardion Felix Minton". Condition: It is in very good condition. There is a hole in the center of the tray that was made purpose. For what purpose I am not sure.
