	Maple & Co. Grandfather Clock Furniture: Antique Clocks: Carved Walnut Clock
	MAPLE & CO. LONDON WALNUT LONGCASE Maple & Co. London Walnut Long case Grandfather Clock circa 1985. This longcase grandfather clock is made of carved walnut, eight tube tall case clock, Maple and Co. London. A very large elaborately carved walnut cased tall case clock by the well known makers of London. The solid walnut case is carved on all three sides, well carved with floral motifs, reclining cherubs, male and female gods and lions. The elaborately engraved square dial is signed by the maker. The dial is fitted with controls levers for the hour and quarter hour chimes. The eight day quarter striking movement strike the quarters on either eight or four tubes with a gong on the hour. Measurement: 105 inches tall, 23 inches wide and 17 inches deep.
