Marble Statue Boy

To die for this precious carved marble sculpture of a little boy writing in a book, the detail is so good, so well carved and the marble is as white as the purist snow! They feel just like satin to the touch, made sometime in the 20th century is my best guess. This sculpture weighs a bloody ton .As I write this I’m asking myself why I’m selling him. He is just so beautiful & precious in every way. Did you take a look at his chubby little toes? Measuring 28” high x 10” square base
