	A wonderful MATL Salas Cross Pendant is set with large Amethysts and embellished with Turquoise and Coral. Matilde Poulat began crafting her spiritual works with a distinct pre Columbian archaeological influence in the 30's and opened a shop in Mexico City with her nephew Ricardo Salas in 1950. Salas continued to produce her designs along with his own after her passing in the 60's. The piece features five large pyramidal and one pendeloque cut Amethysts. The large cross has an articulated bottom. CONDITION: Very fine vintage condition with no missing stones. Fully hallmarked verso is shown in the photographs. Hand crafted sterling silver. Gram weight (including the 28" hand crafted chain) is 44 grams. Mexico.
