Meissen Chandelier

Small & precious this Meissen Chandelier .This looks just like a basket of flowers floating in mid air .The bronze frame in a wonderfully rich surface patina is studded with a mass of porcelain flowers in the most natural colors .The leaves & vines are all in a naturalistic verdigris color .This little beauty has 4 branches (lights).It hangs on a simple chain, & if you wanted to you could add a more ornate chain of any length that you needed. This chandelier measures 18” high x 15” diameter , so you can see that it is quite small. This chandelier is from a magnificent early home in Saco Maine .This chandelier dates from the late 1800’s to the very early 1900’s.
