	Meissen Hand Painted Lidded Figural Box 19th C Porcelain, Pottery: Boxes/Caddies
	Antique Hand painted Meissen porcelain box. The square formed box has a fine hand painted lid with floral decorations in deep pink, gilt borders and rare Oriental style lid-handle. The border of the box has geometric designs & gilt borders all on white ground with inverted handles. Marked appropriately with the blue cross swords under-glaze Meissen mark dating to circa 1900s, painters mark and impressed numbers. Excellent condition with only a tiny nip to the bottom rim of the box. Measures 5 1/2" at the widest x 3" H.
